Competition Analysis

Assess market saturation, seller distribution, and search volume.

What It Does

The Competition tab reveals how crowded the market is for a given product and helps you decide if there is still room to enter profitably.

Key Outputs

  • Saturation Score — a 0-100 rating of how many sellers are already competing for this product, with lower scores meaning less competition
  • Market Overview — total number of sellers, average price range, and total monthly sales volume across all listings
  • Seller Distribution — a breakdown showing how sales are split between top sellers versus the rest (concentrated vs. fragmented markets)
  • Search Volume — estimated monthly searches for the product keyword on AliExpress and Google, indicating buyer demand
  • Entry Difficulty — a quick assessment of how hard it is to gain visibility as a new seller in this niche

How to Use It

  1. Open any AliExpress product page
  2. Navigate to the Competition tab
  3. Check the Saturation Score — values below 40 indicate open markets with opportunity
  4. Review the Seller Distribution chart — fragmented markets (many small sellers) are easier to enter than consolidated ones
  5. Compare Search Volume against the number of sellers to find demand-supply gaps
  6. Use the Entry Difficulty badge as a quick go/no-go indicator

Products with high demand but low saturation are the sweet spot. If saturation exceeds 70, you will need a strong differentiator (better ads, faster shipping, or bundles) to succeed.
