Where does the seller count come from?
We run a keyword search on AliExpress for the product's title and count distinct listings returned.
It is a live number — each time you check, you see the current state of the market.
What does 'saturated' actually mean?
A saturated product has so many sellers that price competition eats most of the margin.
The scale is 0–100: under 30 has room to enter, 30–70 is competitive, and above 70 means you'll fight every listing on price or shipping speed.
Is this score from real reviews or scraped data?
Neither — it is a live count from AliExpress search.
We do not hardcode benchmarks, survey sellers, or buy third-party data.
When we can't resolve a listing, we say 'undetermined' rather than invent a number.
Can I use this for products outside AliExpress?
Not yet.
This checker works against AliExpress listings only.
