Seasonality matters enormously. Sandals peak May through August, boots peak October through January, and athletic shoes have a year-round baseline with January spikes. Competition is fierce but not impossible — most dropshippers avoid this category entirely, leaving room for specialists. Critical tactic: invest in a sizing guide that uses real foot measurements in centimeters, not just US/EU conversions. Video try-ons in your ads dramatically reduce returns.
