How we create content

Every article, product roundup, and deal recommendation on AliShopping Tools is driven by data, not opinion. We use our proprietary APS (AliExpress Product Score) engine to evaluate products before they appear in any guide or recommendation list. Content is written by our team and reviewed before publication.

APS methodology

The AliExpress Product Score (APS) is our algorithmic scoring system. It evaluates products across multiple dimensions:

Price fairness — historical price data to detect inflated “discounts”
Seller reliability — store age, rating, order volume, and dispute history
Review authenticity — patterns that distinguish genuine feedback from manipulation
Demand signals — order velocity, wishlist trends, and search interest

Scores are fully algorithmic. No seller can pay to improve their score, and our team cannot manually override it.

No paid placements

No seller, brand, or platform pays for placement on AliShopping Tools. Product rankings and deal features are determined entirely by APS scores and editorial judgment — never by sponsorship or advertising revenue.

Affiliate disclosure

AliShopping is funded through affiliate partnerships with AliExpress. When you click a product link and make a purchase, AliExpress pays us a referral fee. This is how we fund the platform. This affiliate relationship never influences our scores or recommendations. A product with a low APS score will not appear in our guides regardless of its affiliate status. We believe this transparency is essential to the trust our readers place in us.

Authorship standards

All content is reviewed by our team before publication. Buyer guides, product comparisons, and reviews are authored or reviewed by Daniel, our founder, who has hands-on experience with AliExpress product research and supplier vetting. Data-driven roundups and tool documentation may be published under the “AliShopping Tools Team” byline when they represent a team effort.

Independence

AliShopping Tools operates independently. We are not owned by, affiliated with, or funded by AliExpress, Alibaba Group, or any seller on the platform. Our tools and content exist to serve buyers, not sellers.

Correction policy

If we get something wrong — a factual error, an outdated price, a misattributed claim — we want to know. Email us at [email protected] and we will investigate, fix the issue, and note the correction in the article.
