What It Does
The Live Sales tab monitors a Shopify store in real time, showing you new orders as they happen. This reveals how active a store truly is — beyond what static product data can tell you.
Key Outputs
- 15-Second Polling — the tracker checks for new sales every 15 seconds and updates the feed automatically
- New Sales Feed — each detected sale shows the product name, variant, price, and timestamp
- Latest Products — recently added products appear here, indicating what the store owner is currently testing
- Sales Timeline — a chronological view of all detected sales during your monitoring session, showing purchase frequency
- Activity Indicator — a visual status showing whether the store is currently active (making sales) or quiet
How to Use It
- Visit any Shopify store
- Switch to the Live Sales tab
- The tracker starts automatically — leave it running for 5-15 minutes for meaningful data
- Watch the Sales Feed for new orders appearing in real time
- Note which products sell most frequently — these are confirmed winners
- Check the Sales Timeline to estimate daily order volume
Live Sales is the closest thing to verified revenue data you can get without store access. A store making consistent sales every few minutes is generating significant revenue. Use this to validate that a niche is profitable before investing in ads and inventory.
Tip: Monitor competitor stores during peak hours (evenings and weekends in their target market) for the most accurate picture of their sales volume.
