Why is it free?
Three honest reasons — not a marketing gimmick.
The data is already public
Prices, reviews, order counts, themes, installed apps — all of it lives on the public page a buyer already sees. We surface it, we don't scrape private endpoints. Charging for a better UI on public data felt wrong.
We distribute via content, not ads
Our blog + pSEO pages drive installs. We don't run paid acquisition, so we don't need to recover CAC with a $29/mo subscription.
Future monetization is opt-in, team-tier
If we build team dashboards, API access, or bulk research tools, those will be paid. The solo Chrome extension stays free.
