AliShopping v23: Account Login, Shopify Import & What's New

AliShopping v2.0.0.23 is live on the Chrome Web Store. This version adds account login, Shopify product import, and a fix for AliExpress multi-TLD detection.

What's New in v23

1. Account Login (OAuth)

You can now connect your astools.app account to the extension.

How it works:

1. Click "Connect Account" in the extension popup header
2. A tab opens to astools.app login
3. You log in (or create an account — free)
4. The tab closes automatically
5. Your email appears in the popup header — you're connected

No manual token copying, no password entry in the extension. The OAuth flow handles everything and the auth tab self-closes after success.

What account login enables:

• Promo code sync — active codes update automatically based on your region
• Package tracking (coming in v24) — track AliExpress orders directly from the popup
• Cross-device sync — extension settings follow your account, not just your browser profile

Account login is fully optional. All existing features — price history, fake review detection, seller trust score, live shipping rates — continue to work without an account.

2. Shopify Import

If you use AliExpress as a product source for your Shopify store, v23 adds a direct import path.

How it works:

1. Open any AliExpress product page
2. Open the AliShopping sidebar → VerdictTab
3. Click "Import to Shopify"
4. If you manage multiple Shopify stores: pick which store from the dropdown
5. A Shopify-compatible CSV downloads instantly

The CSV columns match Shopify's product import template — title, description, price, images, variants. No reformatting required.

For single-store users: the import goes directly without the store picker prompt.
For multi-store users: v23 adds a store picker so you can route each product to the right store.

3. Multi-TLD AliExpress Support

AliExpress operates on multiple domains — aliexpress.com, aliexpress.us, aliexpress.ru, and others. Previous versions had detection gaps on non-.com domains.

v23 fixes the PDP pattern to handle all AliExpress TLD variants correctly — price history, fake review detection, and the full extension overlay now activate on any AliExpress domain.

How to Update

If you have AliShopping installed, Chrome updates extensions automatically. You can force an update:

1. Go to chrome://extensions
2. Enable "Developer mode" (top right)
3. Click "Update" button

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the account login required?
No. Account login is opt-in. Price history, fake review detection, promo codes, and shipping rates all work without an account — same as before.

Is AliShopping still free?
Yes. The extension is free. Account creation on astools.app is also free. There is no paid tier for the extension features.

Does Shopify Import work with all AliExpress products?
It works on standard AliExpress product pages. Products with complex variant structures (e.g., 50+ SKU combinations) may have truncated variant data in the CSV — review before importing.

What data does account login share?
The extension stores a signed auth token (JWT) in your browser's local Chrome storage. Your astools.app account email is displayed in the popup. No browsing history, product views, or AliExpress search data is linked to your account without explicit consent.

I already have AliShopping installed — do I need to do anything?
Chrome will update the extension automatically. If you want to try account login, click "Connect Account" in the popup. Otherwise, everything works exactly as before.
